About Michelle Miller

 

A New Orleans native, Michele has always been physically active and dedicated to exercise. At a young age, she was active in ballet, USA gymnastics, USA swimming and later on became active in different forms of movement such as biking, hiking, walking, spinning and resistance training. In 2006, her curious nature led her to try a Pilates Mat group class. Pilates appealed to all her senses, the rhythmic and dynamic flow of the exercises, the focus on her breath, the controlled movements and the challenge to always give more and more each and every class. Her desire to expand her understanding of Pilates and share these skills with others is what ultimately led her to Real Pilates in NYC. Being accepted into the program in 2018, Michele completed a 600+ hour comprehensive certification in Classical Pilates. She feels honored to share the Joseph Pilates method and his body of work with anyone that is willing to learn. Her tip to anyone is to trust the process and stay consistent with their training. The beauty of Pilates is that the exercises meet you at your fitness level and that the method is for everybody!
